St Peters Lutheran School has been providing a Christian education for children from Dimboola and surrounding districts since 1958.

Our school is unique as it is a small school with small classes and a low teacher to pupil ratio. This creates a sense that the school is a family with a personal and caring approach. We are well equipped with updated resources including computers and interactive whiteboards in each class.

St Peters offers a safe Christian environment that endeavours to provide a diverse learning environment that nurtures mutual respect, love and care.

Over recent years we have upgraded a range of facilities, with the most notable being a new synthetic playground surface and basketball court, new computers and iPads for students to use in class.

At St Peters Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.

From Our Principal

Hi everyone, what a fabulous week we have had here at St Peters. Yes it was another chilly week along with plenty of showers. We did not let this dampen our enthusiasm as staff and students focussed on the end of term concert. Practices are going very well with all students engaged in their roles and responsibilities.

Please remember to invite family and friends along to this entertaining evening on September the 21st. The concert will begin at 7:00pm with all students required to be there by 6:30. The P&F will be running a raffle on the night, on behalf of the children, to help pay for costumes for the concert. The tickets will be $1 each. We were super brave and headed out to the Little Desert Nature Park for an excursion on Tuesday. The weather predicted looked to be very chilly when we left. Fortunately most student rugged up with extra warm coats and beanies. The day flew as student’s bushwalked, collected interesting samples, constructed a mural and were able to see the amazing Wind turbines being put up around Nhill and Kiata. We were particularly impressed by the huge crane in use. Thanks to Zoe Krahe for helping out and also to Greg for cooking up the tasty sausages (which were a surprise bonus) for lunch and for getting us there safely and home again.

You would have received your latest School Fees invoice recently. Please make every effort to pay these before the end of this term. School fees enable us at St Peters to continue to offer a very well balanced and well-resourced education for all students. Please come and speak to me or Mr Garry Wallace at Holy Trinity Lutheran College if you or your family are experiencing challenges in this area.

A reminder that St Peters is collecting Earn and Learn stickers from Woolworths. If you are shopping at woollies please collect the stickers and either drop them into the collection box at school in the office or you will find in the Horsham Woolworth store another collection box with our school name and logo on the top. These stickers are then exchanged for educational resources which directly benefit our students and school.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Yours in Christ,

Tim Reimann
