St Peters Lutheran School has been providing a Christian education for children from Dimboola and surrounding districts since 1958.

Our school is unique as it is a small school with small classes and a low teacher to pupil ratio. This creates a sense that the school is a family with a personal and caring approach. We are well equipped with updated resources including computers and interactive whiteboards in each class.
St Peters offers a safe Christian environment that endeavours to provide a diverse learning environment that nurtures mutual respect, love and care.
Over recent years we have upgraded a range of facilities, with the most notable being a new synthetic playground surface and basketball court, new computers and iPads for students to use in class.
At St Peters Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.
From Our Principal
Hi everyone, welcome to week 6 of term 4!! We have had a fantastic week here at school. Monday and Tuesday were both extremely hot days with both staff and students very grateful that we have reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout our school. I remember how excited I was in year 7 back at Loxton Lutheran Primary when we had ceiling fans installed. It is amazing how times have changed and the extreme weather at times.
This week we had our first Kinder transition day. It was so exciting to meet the kinder boys and girls and their families on Tuesday. We will have 7 prep children starting school at St Peters in 2018 which is fabulous. Please remember that these transition days continue for the next 3 Tuesdays.
Tuesday December the 12th is the state wide transition day and will be the final transition day for DMSC. We have several students that will be attending DMSC next year and this will be their final transition day. Students have been experiencing new routines, expectations and meeting their teachers for 2018. It is an excellent way in which to prepare students for all of the changes High School brings.
Any year 6 girls that know that they will be attending DMSC in 2017 are encouraged to call in to Dimboola Mensland and speak to John about your uniform requirements for next year. Please do this sooner than later so that these items can be ordered in on time.
The Dimboola Regatta was on last Saturday night and our P&F catered for those at the dinner again this year. Thank you to all of the wonderful helpers who prepared the dishes and then served the meal on the night. It is these fundraising events that enable the P&F to financially assist our school.
Last Friday night was the P-2 sleepover. The students were so very well behaved. I was so impressed by their manners and the way they all went to bed when asked without any fuss. The P-2 students spent the day in Horsham enjoying several fun activities and then stayed at school overnight. Thank you to Mrs Nicholson and Ms Dwan for staying the night and to the P&F for donating the sausages and bread for dinner.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Yours in Christ,
Tim ReimannFriday 17th November 2017
