Welcome to St Peter's Lutheran School, Dimboola...
Celebrating 60 years in 2018

St Peters Lutheran School has been providing a Christian education for children from Dimboola and surrounding districts since 1958.

Our school is unique as it is a small school with small classes and a low teacher to pupil ratio. This creates a sense that the school is a family with a personal and caring approach. We are well equipped with updated resources including computers and interactive whiteboards in each class.

St Peters offers a safe Christian environment that endeavours to provide a diverse learning environment that nurtures mutual respect, love and care.

Over recent years we have upgraded a range of facilities, with the most notable being a new synthetic playground surface and basketball court, new computers and iPads for students to use in class.

At St Peters Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.

From Our Principal

Hello everyone, well it is the end of week 9 and it has been a rather wet and cold week here at St Peters. The rain has certainly brought out the fresh growth around the school yard and our oval now has a wonderful grass coverage this year. We are very fortunate to have such wonderful school grounds that that our students can enjoy each and every day. Below is a little bird that I found near our Art Room a bit stunned, it sat happily on my hand for several minutes before flying off.

We have been training for Lightning premiership during P.E. and next week on Tuesday the 19th we are all travelling up to Nhill with the DPS students for the day. All parents are welcome to come along and support your children on this fun day. On Thursday the 21st of June all students will be heading into Holy Trinity to watch their production of the ‘Lion King’ we will be heading in around 9:45 and returning by lunchtime. We are all looking forward to this performance.

On Friday the 29th July is the last day of term, students are able to order hot food for lunch, please get your order forms in with plenty of time so that the parents that prepare the meal aren’t rushing around last minute. We are extremely fortunate that our P&F run Hot Food Fridays and I know both staff and students look forward to these extra delicious lunches.

The term is certainly flying by, there are only two weeks left until the July holidays. My family and I will be travelling over to Wagga Wagga for sister in laws 30th birthday. I hope that you and your family have made some plans to enjoy this mid-year break. School will finish early on Friday the 29th as is with both DMSC and DPS. I encourage you to please pick up your children from 2:15 pm as the buses will be coming through earlier also from 2:20pm.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Yours in Christ

Tim Reimann
