St Peters Lutheran School has been providing a Christian education for children from Dimboola and surrounding districts since 1958.

Our school is unique as it is a small school with small classes and a low teacher to pupil ratio. This creates a sense that the school is a family with a personal and caring approach. We are well equipped with updated resources including computers and interactive whiteboards in each class.
St Peters offers a safe Christian environment that endeavours to provide a diverse learning environment that nurtures mutual respect, love and care.
Over recent years we have upgraded a range of facilities, with the most notable being a new synthetic playground surface and basketball court, new computers and iPads for students to use in class.
At St Peters Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.
From Our Principal
Hi everyone, well here we are!! This is officially the last Newsletter for 2017. Yes we have made it through 2017 and staff and students are still smiling. It has been a fantastic year at St Peters and I would like to thank the students firstly for their efforts both inside and outside the classroom. On a daily basis I am constantly impressed by the manners and respect that our students display. The way in which our students interact with each other, staff and visitors is a credit to them. Throughout the year we have had so very many exciting learning experiences, excursions and incursions that the staff at St Peters have organised for the benefit of our students.
Thank you to Mrs Nicholson, Mr Hirth, Ms Dwan, Mrs Rogers, Mrs Walters and Mrs Whittaker for their energy and enthusiasm this year. The acceptance, kindness and patience that you show towards all students forms the foundation of our school community. Thank you for everything you have done this year. A big thank you also to the P&F and School Council members. Your fundraising and support of St Peters throughout 2017 has provided both materials, opportunities and experiences for our students.
Please don’t forget that Monday is our school fun day! We are all heading to the Horsham pool, Ten Pin bowls and the Weir Park for lunch. Students will need a packed recess, lunch, water bottle, hat, bathers and towel. We will be heading back to school after lunch and will be back by normal pick up
Our end of year graduation service is on the 13th of December at 7:00pm at St Peters Lutheran church. All parents, caregivers and friends of our school community are encouraged to come along. Students are to wear their full summer school uniform for this occasion. Pastor Geoff Schefe from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Horsham will be presenting the message and conducting the blessing. Tammy Hughes will be the representative from LEVNT. Please remember to bring along a plate of food to share for supper.
Parents will receive student reports at the conclusion of this evening along with this year’s school magazine. Thank you to the Mrs Walters who put the magazine together and to the teachers for gathering student work samples for this year’s magazine. Thank you also to those people that provided written reports for inclusion also. Due to the short length of next week only necessary notes and information will be sent home if required. There will be no Newsletter!!
The beginning of 2018 will be upon us before we know it so please make note of these dates for the start of the year. Years 1-6 will begin on Wednesday the 31st January and the Prep children will begin school on Thursday the 1st of February.
God bless you and your families over the Christmas holidays and may you all have a very blessed Christmas.
Yours in Christ,
Tim ReimannFriday 8th December 2017
