Our school is unique as it is a small school with small class sizes and a low pupil-to-teacher ratio. This allows us to devote the most time possible to each student and contributes to the sense of family within our school. Our classrooms are well-equipped with updated resources including a fleet of modern laptops and iPads, allowing students one-to-one access to these devices. Touchscreen televisions in each classroom are well utilised in our teaching and learning activities.
At St Peter's Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills, and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.
On Friday, September 4th, we were lucky enough to welcome dads, father figures and special people into our school for our Father's Day afternoon.
There was plenty of fun happening throughout the afternoon, with donut-eating competitions, milkshakes made using the pedal bike, cricket, table tennis, basketball and lots more. We finished the afternoon with one of our students' favourite games, Jedi, with the fathers and special people taking on the students!
It was such a lovely afternoon and wonderful to see so many people come along and spend time with the students. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so enjoyable. We hope you had just as much fun as we did!
A huge congratulations to Milla, Memphis & Xavier for making it through to the Little Desert Athletics.
These three students competed in Stawell last week and represented our school extremely well. We are very proud of their efforts, sportsmanship and the way they gave each event their best.
A special congratulations to Milla, who has made it through to the Greater Western Region Athletics, which will be held in Ballarat early next term. We wish her all the very best!
A reminder to families that in Term 4, students are required to wear their hats whenever they are outside, and our No Hat, No Play rule will be back in place.
Over the holidays, it might be a good idea to help your child locate their school hat and perhaps give it a wash, ready for the start of Term 4.
With no power at school on Tuesday, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to take our learning out into the community, so the whole school went for a walk to our local library.
Before making it to the library, students stopped at the playground to enjoy their fruit together.
Tahnee at the library read the students a story, before some students completed an activity that they were then able to bring back to school and teach others how to do.

It was lovely to welcome the Dimboola Primary School Kindergarten students to our school on Wednesday. The students enjoyed reading a story together before heading outside for some fun with music and the parachute. They then joined our students for lunch and enjoyed having a play together in the yard.
It was a lovely opportunity for the kindergarten students to become familiar with our school environment and spend some time with our students. A big thank you to the kindergarten staff and parent helpers who helped make the visit possible.
It's a little crazy to believe that Term 3 is already over! We will be finishing today at 2:15 pm.
Term 4 will begin on Monday, October 5th. We hope all of our students and families have a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another busy and exciting term!
