St Peter's Lutheran School

We offer a safe Christian environment that endeavours to provide a diverse learning environment that nurtures mutual respect, love and care.

Our school is unique as it is a small school with small class sizes and a low pupil-to-teacher ratio. This allows us to devote the most time possible to each student and contributes to the sense of family within our school. Our classrooms are well-equipped with updated resources including a fleet of modern laptops and iPads, allowing students one-to-one access to these devices. Touchscreen televisions in each classroom are well utilised in our teaching and learning activities.

At St Peter's Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills, and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.

Our vision is to nurture, develop and inspire lifelong learning within our caring community.

Mother’s Day/Freestyle Dance Ministry

WOW! What a wonderful morning we’ve all had at our Mother’s Day morning. It was lovely to start the morning with lots of mothers and special guests joining us for a special Mother’s Day chapel. The students did a wonderful job at reading out some lovely poems about their mums/special person. Following this we had the great, Justin, from Freestyle Dance Ministry, deliver a Freestyle Dance session for the students and guests.

Justin has visited our school for quite a few years now and does an excellent job with our students. He is very upbeat and has the ability to get everyone involved. Once Justin was finished, it was nice to enjoy morning tea with our mums/special guests. Students did a super job at making scones, honey joys and chocolate muffins. Thank you so much to everyone involved and those who attended, we hope you all enjoyed your morning.

DMSC Work Experience students

This week we have been privileged to have two wonderful students join us at school to complete year 10 work experience. Lyla Barry and Emily Taylor, both from DMSC, have spent the week with us between the two classrooms, learning all about what’s involved in being a teacher and being a part of our school community. The students are loving having the girls around, especially at recess and lunch times. We hope they’ve had a fabulous week.

Cross Country

Goodluck to Milla Bartlett who is competing in the next round of Cross Country on Monday in Nhill.

Do It For Dolly Day

Today is Do It For Dolly Day. It was great to see students dress in blue today to remember Dolly. Both classes have completed sessions with Karen, our wellbeing officer, around ways of displaying kindness. Thank you to everyone for your donations this morning during chapel, we raised $75.85, which will all be donated to ‘Do It For Dolly Day’ Fundraiser.

Victoria Police

On Monday 13th May, a member from the Victorian Police is coming to talk with our year 5/6 students about cyber safety/ cyberbullying. In a world full of technology, I think we need to try our best and try different avenues to educate students around this topic.
